Following Henry Cavill's departure from the part of Superman, Dwayne" The Rock" Johnson's Black Adam antihero is no longer a part of DC's cinematic macrocosm – at least for the time being.

It started with Henry Cavill, and now it's Black Adam's turn. Dwayne" The Rock" Johnson revealed on Twitter Tuesday that Black Adam won't be included in DC's forthcoming film slate, which has been shaken up since James Gunn and Peter Safran took over DC Studios in October.

" I spoke with James Gunn, and Black Adam won't be in their first chapter," Johnson wrote." still, DC and Seven Bucks have agreed to continue looking into the most  profitable ways Black Adam can be used in  unborn DC multiverse chapters."

So, for the time being, Black Adam has dissolved, but he may reappear in the future. Another question is whether Johnson will be suitable to play the character in the future; he is 50 times old now, and maintaining that hulking constitution gets more delicate with age.

The departure of Black Adam,  still temporary, represents a significant realignment of DC's cinematic macrocosm. Following his appearance in Black Adam, Henry Cavill was anticipated to duplicate his part as Superman and face off against Johnson's antihero. Cavil, on the other hand, is no longer playing Superman, as he revealed on Instagram last week. Cavill had been playing Superman since the 2013 film Man of Steel.

" James and I've known each other for times and have always  embedded  for each other's success," Johnson wrote in his post on Tuesday." Nothing has changed, and I'll always bed for DC( and Marvel) to win."

Gunn cited Johnson's post and responded in kind" I adore The Rock and look forward to seeing what he and Seven Bucks come up with coming. I can not  stay to get started with you."

Black Adam was released in theatres in October and grossed$ 391 million worldwide. The film entered mixed reviews, with Rotten Tomatoes giving it a 39 standing. still, it fared much better with moviegoers,  entering an 89 standing.

" I'll always flashback the addict's response to Black Adam with tremendous gratefulness,  modesty, and love," Johnson said.
